In 1985 I had made enough money pretending to be other people to afford a Panasonic video camera. I brought it wherever I went and after three months in San Francisco shooting Howard the Duck and lots of waiting around on sets I was bored and started making a film. I stored it and many other adventures with video in cardboard boxes. Rough Day in Duckland is the first unearthed video for Tim TV. I hope you enjoy.

Back in 1985 while shooting Five Corners in NYC my friend Laila Nabulsi convinced the folks she knew at Saturday Night Live to give us some money to make a short film about a character called Bob Roberts. At the time Bob was a yuppie businessman who subverted folk music to serve his own ideology. As time went on and I expanded this idea into a feature film, Bob’s ambition grew, and by 1992 Bob, guitar in hand, was running for the US Senate.
