Mayhem the Invasion

Originally aired on PBS on October 12th, 1992, the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s landing in Hispaniola, this live radio play follows a game show called Conflagration, with competing historians debating the legacy of Columbus with the assistance of a troupe of actors and a live band. The broadcast is interrupted by breaking news of an impending invasion overseas and the game show continues as tensions rise.
